- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat in flour.
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and butter.
- Cook chicken for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken, add garlic to skillet, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmer and scrape the pan.
- Add asparagus, cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and serve.
